from antananarivo to paris—and next, berkeley?

By

Because I was made for wild leaps and quiet courage by always following my heart.

I’m writing this to share something maybe a little unbelievable:
I’m preparing to apply for the Berkeley Haas Global Access Program (Fall 2026), and I’m creating the financial, academic, and emotional plan to make it happen.

Two of the Berkeley Haas Defining Leadership Principles resonate with me most: Question the Status Quo and Students Always.

I often ask myself: Why shouldn’t someone like me — with my background, my origins, my social status — attend a place like Haas?
Why should elite leadership training be limited to one kind of profile?
What really matters when it comes to leadership?

If you know me, you know I’m constantly questioning myself and the world around me — not always in the most conventional ways. I challenge assumptions. I look for better paths. I don’t accept the limits I was born into nor the boxes I was expected to fit into.

And I never stop learning. Whether I was juggling studies and jobs as a young immigrant in France — dealing with mental breakdowns — or retraining in web development and product strategy on my own. I’ve always been a student — not just in school, but in life.

To me, growth and leadership come from learning, unlearning, reinventing yourself every single day, and lifting others so they can feel seen, supported, and capable of leading in their own way.

That’s why Haas. That’s why now.
Because the kind of leader I want to be is the kind that never stops growing, and never stops asking better questions.

I’m not accepted yet. But I’m already committed.

If you’ve attended BHGAP, studied at Berkeley, supported women in product and tech, or sponsored education before — I’d love to connect.
And if you know an organization or individual who believes in this kind of journey — please share this post with them.

Every time I’ve followed my heart — even when it felt impossible — it brought me exactly where I needed to be.
Maybe this time, it will bring me to Berkeley…
